Background
TopSoccer was started in 1991 to provide young players with disabilities an environment filled with meaningful learning, development and physical participation opportunities through the game of soccer.
The National TOPSoccer program is for children with mental and physical diabilities, ages 4 through 19.
Player participation and development are key elements of the program as players are placed according to ability and NOT by age.
TOPSoccer is designed to improve the overall fitness, social skils and self esteem of your child.
Any child/young adult with disability might include:
· Autism
· Down Syndrome
· Muscular Dystrophy
· Cerebral Palsy
· Sight or Hearing Impared
· Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI)
Benefits
The benefits of this program are that the player will develop a sense of belonging to a community and to learn the value of being part of a team.
