Director of Registration

The job description of the Director of Registration is:

  • Coordinates with Georgia Youth Soccer Association (GYSA) on team declaration deadlines and other requirements.
  • Determines registration timeframe and dates for Select, Academy, Recreation, Adult and TOPPS leagues.
  • Coordinates with the Director of Public Relations to create press release and date to release to Newspaper, Radio, Email, club website and other sources.
  • Coordinates with the Director of Public Relations to have Signs designed, produced and distributed. Determines quantities and distribution dates.
  • Establishes communication with current coaches to inform them when registration for the next season will open.
  • Establishes registration project milestones, goals and time frames.
  • Coordinates registration planning with each league Director.
  • Works with each league Director to form teams and make declarations.
  • Files required paperwork and electronic requirements with GYSA.
  • Communicates Financial Aid requirements and deadlines to the membership.
  • Manages Financial Aid program; reviews applications and makes needs-based decision in conjunction with the BOD.
  • Builds registration program for off-season camps, tournaments, etc.
