Summer Season Starts Satueday 6/5
Registration in Now Closed

The season will start the first Saturday in June (6/5).

There are some changes for this season I want everyone to be aware of:
·         We are adding playoffs.  The exact format is still being worked out, but every team will get at least one playoff game in addition to the 10 game season.
·         This is going to increase costs, and to offset that, some changes to the pricing structure have been made.
o   Registration to play is still $75.
o   Jerseys are no longer included in the price.  If you need a jersey, it will be an additional $10.  You can select this option as part of the registration process. Please check with your captain as to how your team will be handling shirts.  Once normal registration closes, I will be ordering shirts for those that need them.  Any late registrations will be responsible for finding their own shirts.  I will work with teams that are formed of “extra” players on their options.  If in doubt order a shirt.
o   Playing on a second team is also part of the registration process, and you will be able to select this option as well. You will now pay for both teams at registration.  If you do not select this option, you will not be placed on a second team.
·         Teams are capped at 18 players max.  This is a USSSA restriction, and there is no getting around it.
·         Because we are adding playoffs, and because there were some integrity issues last season (non-rostered players playing), we will be implementing some changes so teams do no “reload” for the playoffs.
o   Once the season begins, rosters are locked.  Please plan accordingly.  If you lose someone to injury they cannot be replaced.  If players quit, move, etc, they cannot be replaced.  Take advantage of the time you have now, and find players you know are committed. No exceptions will be made.
o   Updated rules will be coming out to discourage teams from bringing in non-rostered players.  This will include, but not be limited to forfeiting games and possibly being ineligible for the playoffs.  This is not fair to the teams that planned accordingly, or to the players who actually paid to play.
·         There is a possibility that for the playoffs, teams may have to play multiple games in a day, especially for lower seeded teams.  Consider it an incentive to finish higher in your table. J
