League Specific Rules
- Goals scored by female players are worth two (2) points.
- There will be no offsides.

- Shin guards are required for all players at all times.

Start of Game and Game Time
- Proper rosters are required in order to play, player cards are not required.
- Each team should present the referee and official roster printed from the USSSA web site.
- Anyone not listed in the USSSA system and on the printed roster will not be eligible to play. No written in names are allowed.
- If there is a question of eligibility the player is to provide valid identification (i.e. driver’s license) at the request of the referee or other league official. Failure to provide proper ID will result in that player being ineligible for that game.
- If a team fails to provide a proper roster the game will be considered a forfeit and will not be played.
- The game will start within 15 minutes of the scheduled start time. If a team does not have enough players to begin at that point the game will be considered a forfeit. If neither team has enough players to play, both teams will be given a loss.
- Choice of sides and the kickoff will be decided by a coin toss. The team winning the toss will have the choice of side or kickoff. The second half will begin with kickoff by the team that did not have it in the first half.
- At the referee's whistle, a player taking a place kick from the center of the field into the opponent's half of the field will start the game. Prior to the kick, players shall be on their respective sides of the field. The player who kicked off may not play the ball again until another player has touched the ball.
- Two 35 minute halves will be played with a 5 minute halftime period.
- Game time is running time with the clock being stopped.
- Ties will not be broken.
Violations
- A goalkeeper cannot handle a ball played back to him/her by his/her teammate. An indirect kick is awarded if a goalkeeper plays the ball with his/her hands on a pass back from his/her teammate. The goalkeeper can catch a headed air ball.
- Direct and indirect kicks will be awarded in accordance with referee judgments.
- If a player is ejected from the game, he must leave the field and may not stay in the area of play. If a player refuses to leave, his/her team will forfeit the game.
- Any player receiving a red card during a game will automatically be suspended for the next two games. The suspension will carry over into the playoffs, and if necessary into the start of the next season in which they register.
- Foul language will not be tolerated, and repeated offenses will result in ejection from the game at the referees discretion. Please remember this is a family complex and we should be respectful of everyone.
